I too lost my friend Billy Sexton to a drunk driving related incident. I know that it hurts everyone around him deeply, and to this day I still can't believe he is gone. But it just disgusts me when people think that his friends "let" him die. As if they ran him over and then laughed while he laid dying. I find it a bit hypocritical that I have seen the little cards that say "Friends don't let friends drive drunk" when Bill got into the pickup and rode while his friend was drunk. I know that people feel it was the driver's fault, but is it really necessary to have this b.s. propaganda floating around? Every time he sees it I'm sure it feels as if someone is coming up to him and saying "You killed Billy." He has to think about it all day everyday and I hope he realizes that there are so many people he can talk to if he needs to.
